Guide

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the W on open water, no off-lying dangers in the final leg. Drop anchor on rock, so prefer sandy patches between the boulders or use the seasonal mooring buoys where available. Holding on rock is unreliable, keep an anchor watch. Shelter from NE, E and SE winds, fully exposed to the W swell that builds quickly with the libeccio.

Practical

No services ashore. Nearest fuel, water and provisioning at Calvi marina, 2 nm NE, or at Port Eugène Ceccaldi 5.9 nm NE. Lunch stop only in settled weather.

Ashore

The coastal path leading to the Pointe de la Revellata lighthouse runs along the clifftops within walking distance of the cove. Calvi old town and the Genoese citadel sit 2 nm NE by sea.
