Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west, keeping clear of the rocky headland. Drop the hook on sand patches between Posidonia meadows in 6 to 12 metres. Posidonia is protected in Corsica and holding on weed is poor, so look for clear sand. Open to easterly breezes but sheltered from the prevailing western quadrant.
Practical
No services. Calvi marina 1.4 NM east for water, diesel and provisioning. Port Eugène Ceccaldi at Calvi 4.8 NM north-east.
Ashore
Revellata lighthouse stands on the headland, built in 1844. The Stareso oceanographic research station operated by the University of Liège occupies the cove just north.
