Approach and anchoring

Approach from the north or east with no off-lying dangers in the open water. Bottom is a mix of sand, rock and Posidonia, so pick a sandy patch and check the set. Holding is irregular on weed. Open to SW winds that funnel around the Revellata.

Practical

No facilities on the spot. Calvi marina lies 1.9 NM east for fuel, water and provisioning, and Port Eugène Ceccaldi at L'Île-Rousse is 5.3 NM further east.

Ashore

The Pointe de la Revellata lighthouse stands on the peninsula closing the bay to the west. Calvi citadel, built by the Genoese from 1483, is reached in about 30 minutes by dinghy plus a short walk along the quay.
