Arcachon basin: the anchorages
9 places · Arcachon basin
The basin empties by two thirds at low water and its entrance channels move every year: enter between one hour before and two hours after high water, in low swell, and never at night on a first visit. Inside, Île aux Oiseaux and its stilt huts, the Arguin bank facing the Pilat dune, Cap-Ferret, and the harbours of Arcachon, La Vigne and Andernos.
