Roadstead off Arenzano on the Riviera di Ponente, west of Genoa. Sand bottom, sheltered from north-west to north-east and open to the south. The Beigua nature park rises behind the town. Fresh water ashore.

Approach and anchoring
Anchor outside the red buoys, just off the harbour and in front of the beaches, on sand in 3.5 to 10 m. The anchor digs in quickly and holds well. Open to the south and south-east. A southerly swell makes the anchorage uncomfortable. Boats and ships passing offshore send in a wash.
Practical
Dinghies can be left under the small bridge. In 2023 an Esso fuel station open 24 hours was a 200 m dinghy trip away.
Ashore
A shaded park lies behind the beach. The town has colourful streets and many restaurants. The Bar Roma served drinks with a spread of antipasti in 2017.
