Guide
Approach and anchoring
VHF 9 answered promptly in June 2026, and marina boatmen assist with berthing. Berths can be narrow, with boats lying close together. A beamy boat was moved to a wider berth in 2025.
Practical
Shore power sockets are 32 A, so a 16 A plug needs an adapter. Showers and toilets open by card. A supermarket stands just opposite the marina, and bikes are for hire nearby. In June 2026 a restaurant played music until 2 am, and electric carts made noise along the quay.
Ashore
A seafront promenade leads to Varazze, which has a long pedestrian street behind the beach. The town shops are 15 to 20 minutes' walk away and close from about 12.30 pm to 4 pm. The cooperative restaurant at the harbour serves one dish, the catch of the day. Trains run to Genoa.
