Anchorage on sand off the harbour of Genoa, Liguria. Sheltered from the northern sector, open to the south. Heavy commercial traffic nearby.

Approach and anchoring
Anchor on sand in 8 to 15 m, with plenty of room. Holding is good. In August 2025 a boat on 40 m of chain in 8 m did not move in a 20 kn north-westerly. In 2023 another held through 25 to 30 kn in 13 to 15 m. Swell stayed out in 2022.
Practical
Industrial surroundings, next to the harbour and near the airport. In 2022 flights ran by day only and harbour noise stayed low. Many boats in summer 2022. Clear water for swimming in July 2025.
