Approach and anchoring

Anchor in 4 to 10 m on sand off the larger beach. The bottom off the smaller beach is rocky. The sand is firm and sometimes needs a second try, then holds well. A shallow rock lies to port on entry. A SE sea can wrap round the islets into the bay, and a strong westerly can set up a beam swell. Motorboat wash is heavy by day, and the bay gets quieter before sunset.

Practical

In 2026 a line of yellow buoys closed the beach to dinghies, and landing was already barred in 2025. In 2026 crews landed by paddle board or were dropped at one end of the buoyed area. A bar-restaurant stood on the beach in June 2026, and rubbish goes to a marked corner. No amenities were found ashore in April 2026. Porto Cervo is about 40 minutes on foot. Water there was free with a fuel fill in 2025.
