The Odet to Concarneau: stopovers and anchorages

11 places · South Finistère

The Odet runs 8 miles inland between woods, from Bénodet to the Vire-Court bends, with moorings on buoys and a river that stays navigable at any tide. Opposite, Sainte-Marine; further east, Port-la-Forêt at the head of its bay and Concarneau with its walled town. The beaches of Beg-Meil, Cap-Coz and Kerleven are fair-weather anchorages, sheltered from the north.
