Marina of 770 berths on the west bank of the Odet estuary, Combrit, facing Bénodet at 300 metres across the river.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Same approach as Bénodet via the Pointe de Combrit leading line. Keep clear of the Bénodet ferry track. Strong tidal streams across the pontoons, up to 3 knots on springs. Max draught 5 metres at the visitor pontoon. VHF 9.
Practical
770 berths on six pontoons, visitors on pontoon A, with water, electricity, showers, WC and pump-out. Reckon on 33 to 41 euros a night; reception is often unstaffed after 17:00 and mooring help is not always on hand, and even a short daytime stop at the visitor pontoon is charged. Bakery, grocery and restaurants are in the village square 200 m away, a Super U about 5 minutes on foot. No fuel berth, the nearest diesel across the river at Benodet.
Ashore
The cafe on the slipway is an institution, and the old village square has several restaurants. Fort de Sainte-Marine, an 18th century coastal battery, gives free access to the estuary view. The GR 34 leads south to the Pointe de Combrit lighthouse and north towards Ile Tudy. A passenger ferry runs to Benodet every 20 minutes in season, the last around 18:30.
