Villefranche to Menton: Cap Ferrat, Monaco and Menton

Villefranche roadstead is the best anchorage on the Riviera, deep and sheltered from everything but the south. Around Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu, Saint-Jean and the Fossettes bay, then Èze and Cap-d'Ail before Monaco, where Port Hercule and Fontvieille book up long in advance. Menton closes the French coast with two harbours and a fair-weather anchorage off the old town.
