Approach and anchoring
Reached from the sea by the buoyed Murrells Inlet channel, entered between the jetties past the MI sea buoy. The creeks shoal quickly: keep to the marked channel and time the passage near high water if you draw more than 4ft. This is a coastal inlet, not the Intracoastal Waterway.
Practical
Dockage serves Wahoo's Fish House and the adjoining Bar & Marina on the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk. Crews tie up to dine on local seafood and sushi, with live music at the waterfront bar. For full marina services and AICW access, Wacca Wache Marina lies inland on the Waccamaw River.
Ashore
The Murrells Inlet MarshWalk boardwalk runs along the creek front and links a row of seafood restaurants and bars over the marsh.
