Guide
Approach and anchoring
The marina sits in a sheltered basin set back about 150 yards from the AICW, reached by a private deep-water channel carrying around 9ft at low water. The setback gives good protection from waterway wake and weather.
Practical
Around 96 wet berths on floating docks for vessels up to about 60ft, each with 30 and 50 amp shore power and water. The fuel berth handles boats up to roughly 90ft and supplies ethanol-free petrol. The ship's store has secured heads, laundry, marine supplies, beer and wine.
Ashore
Socastee provides everyday provisions a short distance away. The marina has run as a fuel, supply and dockage stop for boaters for more than 20 years.
