Approach and anchoring

Approach via the Oakland Estuary main channel from San Francisco Bay, no tidal restriction. The basin opens off the north bank at 2301 Embarcadero Cove East, dock depth around 14 ft. Slips accept boats from 15 to 250 ft. Veille VHF 16, dock office on +1 510 834 4591.

Practical

135 berths with shore power, fresh water, restrooms and showers ashore. Transient berths bookable via the Oakland Marinas group, part of the Almar network sharing fuel facilities with Jack London Square Marina at 600 m west.

Ashore

Union Point Park waterfront promenade right next to the basin. Jack London Square restaurants and Amtrak station at 1.2 km west along the estuary path. Heinold's First and Last Chance Saloon, dating from 1883, at 1 km.
