Approach from the Oakland Estuary, between Alameda Island and the Oakland shore. The site sits opposite Coast Guard Island, with Grand Marina 0.1 NM to the north-west and Alameda Marina 0.1 NM to the south-east. Two concrete launch ramps and a single dock finger in the middle, no overnight tie-up.
Practical
Launching and parking are free, run by the City of Alameda. Restrooms, fishing pier and fish-cleaning station on site. Trailer parking is tight on summer weekends and overflows along Grand Street. No fuel, no power, no water on the dock.
