Approach and anchoring

Approach via the Oakland Estuary main channel from San Francisco Bay, no tidal restriction. Entry from the channel into the cove on the north bank, the marina is at 31 Embarcadero Cove. Slips take boats from 24 to 70 ft. Veille VHF 16, dock office on +1 510 532 6683.

Practical

150 berths with shore power, fresh water and phone service on the pontoons. Restrooms and showers ashore, transient berths available. Haul-out and on-site repair services. Quinn's Lighthouse restaurant on the property and gear lockers for boat owners.

Union Point Park waterfront and footpath at 600 m. Jack London Square shops, ferries and Amtrak station at 1.2 km along the estuary path. Lake Merritt and downtown Oakland reachable by city bus from Embarcadero in 15 minutes.
