Approach and anchoring

Swan Creek opens off the bay just north of Rock Hall and carries about 6 feet at mean low water. The field uses helix-anchored balls and is well sheltered on all sides, with a tidal range of only 1 to 2 feet. Being the marina closest to the bay on the creek, boats rarely sit out a low tide here.

Practical

Around 22 mooring balls take vessels up to 55 feet. Fresh water is available. Mooring customers have use of the dinghy docks, heads and showers ashore, plus parking at the boatyard. A travel lift on site handles haul-outs and emergencies.

Ashore

Rock Hall is roughly 1 mile away by water or road, with grocery shops, a hardware store and several restaurants. The town's two small museums cover local watermen and the oyster trade.
