Approach and anchoring
From the main Bay channel, leave to the east at flashing red 32 and steer about 1.2 miles on 129 degrees magnetic to pick up the flashing red mark at the mouth. The entrance carries 1.5 to 2.7 metres and the creek 1.2 to 2.1 metres. Holding is good in mud, with shelter from all directions.
Practical
Safe Harbor Great Oak Landing marina lies inside the creek, 0.2 miles to the south-east, with transient berths, a modest repair yard and fresh water. The 70-acre site has a private sand beach and a 9-hole par-3 golf course. Worton Creek Marina is 1.9 miles to the east.
