Approach and anchoring
Inland river, no tides. Entry straightforward from the Erdre channel. Air draught limited downstream by the bridges of Nort-sur-Erdre and the Tortière tunnel at Nantes. Shoaling in the bends, keep to mid-channel.

Nine berths, water and electricity at the pontoon. Capitainerie operated by the commune. Bakery, butcher and supermarket within 500 m in the village. SNCF station of Sucé-sur-Erdre at 800 m, line to Nantes.
Ashore
Chapelle Saint-Étienne at the village centre. Sentier de grande randonnée GR3 running along the Erdre. The Erdre was described by the royal cartographers of François I as 'the most beautiful river in France', a quote still used by the local boating community.
