Approach and anchoring
Reached by the canalised Erdre, a flat-water river classified as one of the most scenic in France by royal decree of 1467. No tide, no lock between the Loire junction and Sucé. Headroom limited by fixed bridges downstream of Nantes.
Practical
Quiet pontoon used by local river cruisers and rental houseboats. Sucé-sur-Erdre pontoon lies 2.5 NM to the SW with village shops and SNCF station on the Nantes line.
