Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from Southold Bay. The bottom is mud, giving good holding. The ground is sheltered from north-west through south but open to the eastern quarter. Town moorings are regulated by the Town of Southold, so check local rules before laying out.
Practical
Fresh water is available locally. Port of Egypt marina lies about 1 mile north with fuel, berths and chandlery; Peconic Bay Yacht Club is around 1.2 miles to the north-east.
Ashore
Southold village centre, on Main Road, sits within walking distance of the creek landings and has shops and provisions. Boat ramps at Pine Neck Road and Terry Lane give tender and trailer access to Town Creek and Jockey Creek.
