Approach and anchoring
Easy access from Peconic Bay into a sheltered basin. The marina sits on Route 25 about one mile east of Southold hamlet. Maximum draught around 1.5 metres. Brick Cove Marina lies 0.7 nautical miles to the north-east.
Practical
Roughly 150 single-loaded berths plus dry-stack storage for 80 boats. Self-service fuel berth with petrol and marine diesel, ValvTect certified, open early and late. Boat ramp and a 25-ton travel lift for craft up to 40 feet. Transient rates from 5.25 dollars per foot midweek.
History
A fishing station opened on this site in 1932. The Lieblein family bought the property in 1946 and ran it for around 80 years, taking on a Grady-White dealership about 1960 that turned it into a year-round business.
