Guide

Approach and anchoring

All-round shelter from the surrounding shores and the causeway. Sailing yachts must pass under the causeway bridge to reach it, while shallow-draught craft can come in from Bear Cut. Holding is in mud.

Practical

Crandon Park Marina lies about 2.6 NM north for fuel, water and provisions, monitoring VHF 16 and working channel 68. The marina sits at the northern end of Key Biscayne off Crandon Boulevard.

Ashore

Crandon Park, an 808-acre county park on the northern part of Key Biscayne, has a long sandy beach, a nature centre and picnic shelters, reached from the marina end of the basin.
