Approach and anchoring
Straightforward approach from seaward, no offshore dangers. Anchor in 3 to 5 metres on sand, well clear of the swimming area buoys in season. Shelter only from the NW, open to E, S and SW. Leave at the first sign of a marin or tramontane building. No night navigation lights on the beach.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Nearest refuge is Port de Sérignan - l'Orb, 1.7 nm west at the mouth of the Orb, with fuel, water and a capitainerie. Beach access at Sérignan-Plage for tender landing, supermarket and several restaurants within 500 m of the foreshore in season.
Ashore
Sérignan-Plage is a 5 km sand beach within the Domaine du Grand Orb, Natura 2000 site at the Orb estuary. Réserve naturelle des Orpellières at the river mouth, 1.5 km west, protects dune and lagoon habitats. The village of Sérignan, 3 km inland, has a Romanesque collegiate church dating from the 12th century.
