Approach along the Canal du Midi, Freycinet gauge. Maximum length 30 m, beam 5.50 m, draught 1.40 m, air draught 3.30 m under the road bridges. Speed limited to 8 km/h.

Free mooring along the stone quay with rings, no pontoon. No water or electricity on the town quay, services available at the private Port de Villeneuve-lès-Béziers 200 m east. Bakery, butcher and Carrefour Contact in the village within 300 m.
Ashore
Fourteenth-century fortified church of Saint-Etienne in the village centre at 250 m. Canal du Midi towpath, UNESCO listed since 1996, passes alongside the quay and links Béziers to Agde on foot or bike over 22 km. Beaches of Portiragnes-Plage at 8 km by road.
History
Villeneuve-lès-Béziers stands on the Canal du Midi opened in 1681 by Pierre-Paul Riquet. The canal carried wheat, wine and salt for two centuries before commercial traffic ended in the 1980s.
