Approach and anchoring
Enter through the Orb mouth at Valras-Plage, then follow the buoyed channel upstream for about 2 km. Maximum draught 1.8 m, air draught limited by the RD37 road bridge downstream of the port. Speed limit 5 km/h on the river. VHF 9.
Practical
400 berths on fixed and floating pontoons. Water and electricity at each berth. Sanitary block with showers. Crane and wintering area on site. Bakery and small shops at Sérignan village 1 km away, supermarket at 1,5 km.
Ashore
Sérignan village and its 12th-century collegiate church Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, 1 km on foot along the river. Regional museum of contemporary art in the old town. Sérignan beach and the Orpellières nature reserve at the river mouth, 3 km by bike path.
History
The port was built in the 1980s on the left bank of the Orb to give Sérignan, an old inland river-trade village, a direct outlet for pleasure boating separate from Valras-Plage.
