Approach and anchoring
Approach from Ponce de Leon Inlet, then up the Halifax River on the ICW. The yard sits a short run from the inlet on the western shore.
Practical
75-tonne boat hoist, the largest in Volusia County, with a 7 m beam well. Diesel and petrol on the fuel berth. About 90 percent of the berths open to short-term rental on a first come basis. Sea Spirit and Waterproof Charters operate from the yard.
Ashore
Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse at 800 m, 53 m brick tower completed in 1887 and a National Historic Landmark since 1998. Marine Science Center on Lighthouse Drive at 1.2 km.
