Guide

Approach and anchoring

On the Halifax River close to Ponce de Leon Inlet, with the inlet giving the Atlantic access about a mile to the south. The inlet shoals; a rising tide and local knowledge are advised. The public Lighthouse Park ramp adjoins the site.

Practical

150 wet berths and 200 covered dry-storage spaces for boats up to 40 feet. Billed as the largest do-it-yourself boatyard in the Daytona area, with repair and maintenance contractors on site.

Ashore

Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse, 175 feet tall and a National Historic Landmark, stands immediately south on South Peninsula Drive. The Lighthouse Park boat ramp next door has courtesy docks and parking.
