Town marina just inside the east entrance of the Cape Cod Canal at Sandwich, Massachusetts, a former harbour of refuge on Cape Cod Bay.

Approach and anchoring

Enter from Cape Cod Bay on the port side of the canal entrance, or on the starboard side when coming from the Buzzards Bay end. The basin is widely used as a wait for fair weather in the bay or a favourable current through the canal.

Practical

140 seasonal berths, 42 commercial berths and 24 transient berths set aside under the Army Corps of Engineers requirement. Maximum transient stay is 13 nights. There is a fuel berth, pump-out, heads and showers. The town runs the marina 24 hours a day; reservations are advised from June to September.
