Approach and anchoring

Reached from Buzzards Bay through Cohasset Narrows, just off the western approach to the Cape Cod Canal. Berths and moorings take vessels up to 50 feet.

Practical

There are 148 berths plus moorings, a fuel berth with petrol and diesel, a pump-out, private heads and showers, and a marine store. The launch ramp with parking is the only fully public ramp in the town of Bourne.

History

The marina was built in 1984 and is the oldest aluminium-frame marina in North America. The Massachusetts Maritime Academy stands nearby on the Buzzards Bay shore.
