Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south clear of the coastal rocks east of Cap Garonne. Sand holding in 4 to 8 metres. Shelter from NW, N and NE winds. Exposed to the S and SE when the swell picks up.
Practical
No facilities at the anchorage. Port des Oursinières 1.2 NM SE has visitor berths and water. Saint-Louis du Mourillon at Toulon 3 NM W for fuel and full services.
Ashore
Plage de la Garonne at 300 m by dinghy. Musée de la Mine de Cap Garonne at 1.5 km, former copper mine worked from 1862 to 1917, now open to visitors. Sentier du littoral along the Pradet coast east toward Carqueiranne.
