Sand anchorage off the Mourillon shoreline on the east side of the Toulon roadstead, 0.2 nm south of Saint-Louis du Mourillon and 0.7 nm from the Darse Nord.

Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Grande Rade de Toulon. Sand bottom. Shelter from N, W and NW; open to E and SE swell. Keep clear of the marked naval traffic lanes into Toulon, an active French Navy base where restrictions apply around arsenal entries.
Practical
Forain anchorage with no services on the water. Saint-Louis du Mourillon marina 0.2 nm N for visitor berths, water and shops; Toulon Darse Nord 0.7 nm N for a full urban stop.
Ashore
Plages du Mourillon, a line of man-made sand beaches, start 200 m from the anchorage. Tour Royale, a 16th-century artillery tower built under François I, overlooks the anse. Musée national de la Marine in central Toulon, 2 km W.
