Guide

Approach and anchoring

Access via the Seine downstream of the Poses lock, in the tidal section. Watch for commercial traffic heading to Rouen. The current reverses with the tide up to Poses. Approach on the left bank near the Elbeuf meander.

Practical

Seventy berths on floating pontoons. Water and electricity at the pontoons. Elbeuf town centre within walking distance of the port for shops and the SNCF station served by Rouen trains.

Ashore

Fabrique des savoirs museum in Elbeuf at about 1.5 km, dedicated to the former wool industry of the Seine valley. Forêt de Bord-Louviers accessible across the river for walking.
