Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Pertuis d'Antioche via the Pertuis Breton, keeping clear of the bridge piers to the south. Sand bottom. The holding is fair but the zone is a regulated prohibited area in places, check the local arrêté before dropping anchor.
Practical
No services on site. Port de Rivedoux Plage lies 0.9 NM SW with water, fuel and shops. La Flotte en Ré sits 2.8 NM W with a tide-gated marina and a larger town.
Ashore
Sablanceau beach runs along the shore with bathing and kite-surfing. Rivedoux-Plage village is within walking distance with bakeries and a Monday, Wednesday and Saturday morning market on place de la République.
