Approach and anchoring

From the Port du Crouesty, round the pointe de Kerpenhir and enter the golfe through the narrow passe, where the tidal current runs up to 8 knots at spring tide. Anchor off the Rohu on sand mixed with weed; hook the flukes through the weed for a good hold. Sheltered from N round to SE, exposed to the south-west airflow off the Atlantic.

Practical

No services at the anchorage. Le Logeo lies 1.6 NM NE and Port du Crouesty 1.6 NM NW, both offering diesel, water and electricity. The Crouesty has a boatyard with 45-tonne travel lift.

Ashore

The Presqu'île de Rhuys coastal path runs along the shore. The Château de Suscinio, residence of the dukes of Brittany built in the 13th century, stands 4 km south on the ocean shore. Sarzeau market is held Thursday morning on the place des Trinitaires, 3 km inland.
