Approach and anchoring
Approach from the SW, staying clear of the rocks off the Pointe de Penvins to the S. Bottom of weed over sand; drop on clear patches and check the set. Shelter from N through NE to E and NW. Fully exposed to S and SW; untenable in onshore winds.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Port du Crouesty 0.5 NM N has 1 200 berths, fuel, water and a full-service marina. Port Navalo 1.2 NM NW is the alternative at the mouth of the gulf.
Ashore
Plage du Fogeo is a sand beach 800 m long, supervised in July and August. Coastal path to the Pointe de Penvins with its 19th century chapel at 4 km S, and to Port du Crouesty at 1 km N. Bakery and small grocery at Arzon village 1.5 km inland.
