Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Rade de Brest through the Passe de l'Auberlac'h, keeping clear of the shallows off the Pointe de Lanveoc to the south. Holding on mud is good. Protection from W, NW and SW; exposed to E and SE where fetch builds across the rade.
Practical
Forain anchorage with no services ashore. Port de Tevenez lies 0.7 NM east for a lee berth; Moulin Mer is 2 NM north for water and visitor moorings run by the SNMM.
Ashore
Coastal GR34 footpath runs along the shoreline above the anchorage and links to L'Auberlac'h hamlet in about 1 km. Oyster beds of the Rade de Brest spread along the foreshore at low water.
