Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Rade de Brest through the Passe de l'Auberlac'h. Sand bottom with good holding. Sheltered from N, NE, E, S and SE; exposed to westerly winds funnelling through the Rade. Watch for oyster tables in the inner bay.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no shore facilities. Moulin-Mer at 2 NM to the E and Rostiviec at 2.1 NM to the N offer mooring buoys and slipway access.
Ashore
Coastal path along the shore of the Anse de Daoulas, a Natura 2000 marine zone. Abbaye de Daoulas, a 12th-century Augustinian site with cloister and medicinal garden, at 3 km by road from the head of the anse.
