Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west in settled weather only. Rock bottom gives variable holding, re-set the anchor if it drags. Exposed to the prevailing libeccio from SW and to westerly swell.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no facilities. Cargèse 5.1 NM S offers a small harbour for shelter. Porto-Ota 6.1 NM NE is a day anchorage at the mouth of the Porto river valley.
