Approach and anchoring
Entered from the Gulf by the Anclote River channel, with the marina sitting close to marker 39 and no bridges on the way in. Dock depth runs to about 9 feet at the wet slips. The harbour is sheltered, with open Gulf water roughly 15 minutes downriver.
Practical
Wet slips, covered and uncovered, plus high and dry racks and transient berths for boats from 20 to 65 feet. There is a 50-ton travel lift, a boatyard with on-site service vendors, 24-hour heads, wash racks and a chandlery. The fuel berth sells 89-octane petrol and ethanol-free petrol. Open seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Ashore
The Sponge Docks district on Dodecanese Boulevard, with Greek bakeries and restaurants, is about 2 km upriver. Sunset Beach and Howard Park lie within 6 km by road.
