Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Gulf of Mexico up the buoyed Anclote River channel. The berths lie on a sheltered reach of the river, well inside the entrance and protected from offshore swell.
Practical
Around 190 berths serving the surrounding waterfront community, with direct river access for resident craft. Belle Harbour Marina and Anclote Isles Marina lie within half a mile to the west for fuel and transient berths.
Ashore
The Tarpon Springs sponge docks and Greek quarter, with restaurants and the sponge market, are a short distance along Anclote Road. The Pinellas Trail, a paved cycling and walking path, runs through the town.
