Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Gulf by the Anclote River channel with no bridges en route. Approach and dockside depths are about 7 feet, on fixed docks. The harbour is well sheltered and has a reputation among local boaters for storm protection.
Practical
Twenty-six slips, two of them transient, for vessels up to 75 feet. Two 35-ton travel lifts handle haul-out. Shore power is 30, 50 and 100 amp, with fresh water, Wi-Fi, a pump-out, heads, showers and laundry. There is no fuel berth on site. The marina runs 24-hour security with a remote-controlled main gate.
Ashore
The Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, with Greek restaurants and shops, are about 1.5 km upriver. Fred Howard Park and its Gulf beach are roughly 5 km by road.
