Approach and anchoring
Enter from the Gulf of Mexico by the buoyed Anclote River channel; the marina lies on the first reach inside the river entrance, making it a quick stop after the offshore passage.
Practical
Dry stack storage for around 200 boats, plus wet berth rentals at the river mouth. Fuel berth and ship's store on site. Boat rentals available. Miss Vicki's On The River restaurant serves food and drinks at the waterfront.
Ashore
The Tarpon Springs sponge docks, with their Greek tavernas and sponge market, lie a short run up the river. Fred Howard Park beach and causeway sit roughly 3 miles south for swimming and a sand beach.
