- Harbour
Private marina serving the Port Regalle condominium community at Great Kills Harbour, Staten Island, New York.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approached through the buoyed Great Kills Harbour channel, entered from Lower Bay near Great Kills Light. The berths sit on the south side of the harbour, close to Captains Marina and Staten Island Yacht Club, both within 0.3 nautical miles to the north.
Practical
Marina reserved mainly for residents of the Port Regalle development, built in the mid-1980s. It is the only condominium community on Staten Island with its own marina. Other Great Kills marinas nearby take transient berths.
History
Port Regalle was developed in the mid-1980s as a waterfront housing scheme on Great Kills Harbour, with the marina laid out as a community amenity rather than a public yacht harbour.
