Fishing and leisure harbour on the commune of Plougasnou, on the east side of the bay of Morlaix in northern Finistère, facing the Île Noire and the Château du Taureau.

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the bay of Morlaix, keeping clear of the rocks of the Île Noire and the Roc'h Parc'h Bras to the north-west. VHF 9. Maximum draught at the pontoons about 2.5 m. Strong tidal streams in the approaches, typical of this corner of the Channel.

Practical

Marina pontoons with water and electricity, plus a working fishing quay. Fuel and full yard services are at Roscoff-Bloscon 5.6 NM to the west. Bakery and small shops in the hamlet of Le Diben a short walk from the quay.

Ashore

GR 34 coastal path runs along the cliffs of the Pointe de Primel, a rocky headland about 1 km north of the port with views over the bay. Plage de Primel-Trégastel, a sand beach, is on the west side of the headland. Lobster and crab are landed at the fishing quay and sold locally.
