Approach and anchoring
Open to winds from NE, E, SE, S and SW, usable only in settled W to NW weather. Rocky ground, holding poor, tripping line recommended. Numerous drying rocks off the beach, approach from the north on a rising tide.
Practical
No facilities ashore at the beach itself. Port-Diben 1 NM NE offers drying moorings and a slipway. Roscoff-Bloscon marina 4,8 NM W for any serious shelter, 625 berths and fuel dock.
Ashore
GR 34 coastal path runs along the cliffs above the beach. Pointe de Primel headland and its Napoleonic battery 1,2 km east by the path. Village of Primel-Tregastel 1,5 km with bakery and small shop.
