Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, clear of the Île de la Tour Fondue shipping lane. Entrance faces south-east, marked by a green and a red light at the pier heads. Maximum draught 1.6 m at the inner berths, so keep to the channel axis. Exposed to easterly blows, well sheltered from the mistral. Call the harbour office on VHF 9.
Practical
411 berths, mostly resident. Visitor berths limited and should be booked ahead in July and August. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol at the entrance. Water and power on the pontoons. Refuges in case of bad weather: Port des Oursinieres 2.6 NM W, La Madrague de Giens 3.1 NM SE.
Ashore
Carqueiranne town centre is 400 m inland with bakery, grocery and restaurants. Beach of the Pradet coast path starts at the port and runs east along the cliffs to Fort de la Gavaresse. Tuesday morning market on place de la Liberte, 500 m from the pontoons.
