Approach and anchoring
Southerly approach from the northern Marseille roadstead, marked entrance between the breakwaters. Maximum draught 4.3 m, one of the deepest in the bay for deep-keeled yachts. Exposed to S and SE, well sheltered from the mistral by the Nerthe range to the NW. Harbour on VHF 9.
Practical
320 berths run by the City of Marseille. Diesel fuel berth on site. Water, electricity and sanitary blocks on the pontoons. Basic shops at L'Estaque 0.7 NM by road or on foot via the coast path.
Ashore
Corbières beaches below the harbour, sand and shingle, ten minutes on foot. Coast path towards Niolon 4 km away across the Côte Bleue. View of the Frioul islands and Château d'If from the breakwaters.
