Approach and anchoring
Entrance from the east between two jetties, red and green lights at the heads. Maximum draught 2.5 m. VHF channel 9. Tramontane from NW accelerates along the coast, and easterly swell rolls directly into the approach. The bay marks the transition between sand to the north and rocky headlands to the south.
Practical
891 berths for boats up to about 20 m. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol, water and power at the pontoons, sanitary blocks with showers, travel hoist and winter hard standing. Shops, bakery and restaurants along the port quays, supermarket within 500 m.
Ashore
Sandy beach of Argelès runs 7 km along the bay north of the port. Sentier du littoral starts at the southern end of the marina and climbs into the schist cliffs towards Collioure, 4 km south on foot. Albères massif and the Spanish border lie 15 km to the south.
