Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north through the pass between Île des Embiez and the mainland, or from the south via the Grand Rouveau channel. Bottom of weed and rock, look for sand patches. Sheltered from winds from SE to W, exposed to the mistral from the north and to easterlies.
Practical
Forain anchorage, water available ashore at Saint-Pierre des Embiez 0,3 nautical miles west. Le Brusc 0,5 nautical miles south-east for shops and fuel.
Ashore
The Embiez island is owned by the Paul Ricard estate and laid out with footpaths around the shore. Institut océanographique Paul Ricard and its aquarium are on the island. Saint-Pierre village has shops, a bakery and restaurants.
